Matt Barnes
Matt Barnes was arrested on Wednesday night after a domestic dispute at his home. Matt Barnes is a newly-acquired guard for the L.A. Lakers and also known for starting in the Basketball Wives with his fiance's Gloria Govan.
The police were called to his residence on Wednesday at 4:16 pm. police arrived to find Matt and an unnamed woman with injuries. After police considered Matt to be the aggressor he was arrested in the altercation. Matt was released on $50,000 bond.
Matt sent a text to ABC News stating the following:
“I was the victim but still got arrested.”
“U know any domestic violence situation 9 outa 10 times the man gets arrested. That's the case here I was the victim but still got arrested. No matter what I say people are gonna think what they want..."
Gloria Govan is also claiming that Matt is innocent.
WOW this is crazy! But isn't Gloria the same one that swore up and down that she had a good man? What happened that cause things to get physical? Because Matt has visible marks around his neck...very interesting can't wait to hear more about this drama!
